The International Water Summit (IWS) is a new global platform for promoting water sustainability and the water-energy nexus in arid regions. As a natural extension of the UAE’s commitment to sustainability, IWS brings together policymakers, scientists and business leaders to tackle the urgent challenges of wastewater and water access and security.
The IWS Exhibition will offer a unique opportunity to:
Meet your business match in the digital world and plan your visit by using our new online matchmaking business tool.
The Project Stream is an exciting business marketplace that will run in parallel with the main IWS exhibition and will be open for some 5000 visitors anticipated over the course of the event. This ‘reversed exhibition’ will bring together buyers and sellers from the international water community to explore mutually beneficial synergies, establish partnerships and make the most of highly-focused networking opportunities.
Project owners will be presenting actual projects from the region that are in the announcement or development stage to interested solution providers. Attendees will primarily be suppliers and partners looking for business opportunities. They will gain valuable market insight, learn from best-practice case studies of completed projects and connect with the owners of upcoming projects.
The IWS Sustainable Water Solutions Village is an exposition of ideas that have been successfully implemented in water scarce communities to help the population live a safe and water sustainable life.
The village is divided into two areas; one area is dedicated to providing water solutions for rural communities and the other is a presentation space for regional water sector best practice, aiming to enable participants to share innovations and to support Middle East and arid regions in their pursuit of improvement and innovation in the water sector.
Combining presentations with talks and discussions, the camp will be a vibrant meeting place to learn and gain inspiration. The individual camp areas will be hosted by non-profit organization’s that have made it their mission to help bridge the massive gap between water-haves and water have-nots.
